QA Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of advanced manufacturing automation solutions, driving integration of robotics, PLCs, and software frameworks using Python, C++, ROS, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end automation systems for high‑mix, high‑volume aerospace manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain software components in Python and C++ that interface with PLCs, robotic controllers, and ROS‑based platforms.
- Design CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker) to ensure repeatable, reliable deployments across test and production lines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements, perform risk assessments, and validate performance against aerospace standards.
- Mentor junior engineers, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement in automation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 10+ years of automation experience.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for real‑time control and data processing.
- Extensive experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and integration of robotic systems using ROS.
- Hands‑on expertise in building CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and version control (Git).
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work remotely, and eligibility to work as a U.S. Person.
