About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and drive the transformation of legacy payments systems into a modern, cloud‑native platform using microservices and API‑first principles.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external technology partners to define target state architectures that meet current and future business needs.
- Ensure security, compliance, and regulatory standards are embedded throughout the architecture and design lifecycle.
- Mentor and influence engineering teams on best practices for scalability, resilience, and performance.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on payments or financial services.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices design.
- Strong background in API design, security, and regulatory compliance (PCI, SOX, GDPR).
- Proven ability to lead large, cross‑functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
