Lead the design and delivery of a next‑generation Ads Trust & Safety AI platform, driving architecture, security, and compliance across Microsoft Advertising’s global ad ecosystem.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the technical vision for the Ads Trust & Safety AI platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance for billions of ad decisions daily.
- Architect end‑to‑end solutions that detect and mitigate harmful, deceptive, and low‑quality content while protecting advertisers, publishers, and partners from fraud.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate policy, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements into platform design and operations.
- Lead a high‑performing engineering team, mentoring architects and developers, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Drive adoption of cloud services, automation, and advanced ML techniques to enhance detection accuracy and reduce false positives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in large‑scale platform architecture, with a strong focus on AI/ML and trust & safety.
- Proven expertise in designing secure, compliant systems for high‑volume advertising environments.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), containerization, and microservices.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Track record of leading and scaling engineering teams in a fast‑paced, global organization.
