Systems Engineer
Lead a remote team in developing advanced power system models and analytics to drive electric utility solutions, leveraging PowerFlow, simulation, optimization, and Python/MATLAB tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and validation of power system models for utility planning and operations.
- Perform advanced power flow, stability, and reliability analyses using industry-standard tools.
- Develop and implement optimization algorithms to improve system performance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate data analytics and machine learning into power system workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on modeling best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in power system engineering with a focus on modeling and analytics.
- Proficiency in PowerFactory, PSS/E, or equivalent simulation platforms.
- Strong programming skills in Python and MATLAB for data analysis and model development.
- Deep understanding of power flow, stability, reliability, and optimization concepts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
