About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and support platform infrastructure for Air Traffic Control (ATC) applications across Linux and Windows environments.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering and Software teams to define platform requirements, performance benchmarks, and security controls.
- Design and maintain high‑availability, fault‑tolerant solutions using virtualization, clustering, and load‑balancing technologies.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and conduct root‑cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and patch management.
- Document platform architecture, operational procedures, and best practices for knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in platform engineering for mission‑critical systems.
- Deep expertise in Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration, virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), and networking (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Experience with high‑availability and disaster‑recovery design in regulated environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
