Devops Engineer
Lead the design and operation of a high‑throughput, AI‑driven transaction enrichment platform using Python, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to deliver reliable, scalable services for financial institutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable microservices that ingest, process, and enrich billions of transaction records daily.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to ensure rapid, reliable deployments.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to integrate AI models for merchant matching and geolocation enrichment.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize resource utilization across AWS services.
- Document infrastructure designs, best practices, and operational procedures for cross‑team knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps roles within high‑scale data environments.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) and IaC tools like Terraform.
- Strong understanding of data pipeline concepts, message queues, and real‑time processing.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a passion for building resilient, data‑centric systems.
