Devops Engineer
Senior Platform Engineer responsible for building, automating, and maintaining the Data Science platform on AWS, leveraging CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code to ensure reliable, scalable environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS environments that host data science workloads, ensuring high availability and security.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate code deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters, optimizing resource utilization and scaling.
- Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code scripts with Terraform or CloudFormation to enable repeatable, version‑controlled deployments.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to troubleshoot performance issues, streamline workflows, and integrate new tools into the platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in CI/CD concepts and tooling, with a track record of automating deployments.
- Expertise in container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Solid scripting/programming skills in Python and familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools like Terraform.
- Experience supporting data‑intensive workloads and collaborating in cross‑functional agile teams.
