Senior Platform Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS, using Terraform and best practices for cost and resilience.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, scalable infrastructure on AWS, ensuring performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules and pipelines, automating provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate infrastructure changes into CI/CD workflows.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and implement proactive reliability measures.
- Document architecture, processes, and best practices for internal teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, with deep knowledge of AWS services.
- Proven expertise in Terraform and infrastructure as code practices.
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering, monitoring, and incident response.
- Experience with cost optimization strategies and budgeting in cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
