Devops Engineer
Senior Platform Engineer responsible for designing, building, and scaling cloud‑native services that ingest, process, and store video evidence, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance for a mission‑critical justice platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, scalable microservices that handle real‑time video ingestion and chain‑of‑custody metadata.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code on AWS, leveraging services such as S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and DynamoDB.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to ensure rapid, safe deployments.
- Collaborate with security, data, and product teams to embed encryption, access controls, and auditability into the platform.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production incidents, and drive continuous improvement of reliability and latency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building cloud‑native platforms, preferably in Python and/or Go.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services, container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS), and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong background in distributed systems, event‑driven architectures, and data pipelines.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and automated testing.
- Experience implementing security best practices, encryption, and compliance for sensitive data.
