Senior Platform Engineer - Alternative Payments

What we’re looking for

We're seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Engineering team and build a platform that simplifies the day-to-day of our engineers , driving operational excellence, enhancing infrastructure reliability and establishing cutting-edge observability across our critical systems.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a distributed systems environment, has strong opinions about platform development, and can move from strategy to execution quickly. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and agentic coding, being instrumental in how we drive innovation within our platform team, truly supporting the key stakeholders: our engineers.

You'll work closely with the Lead Platform Engineer and play a key role in building and improving our internal platform across the board. This role is available to candidates who are eligible to work in Brazil, Remote .

What you’ll do

Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and reliability of our platform.

Develop and maintain distributed systems , with a focus on performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.

Collaborate with the engineering team (including our support engineers) to build and improve our internal platform, with a focus on automation, monitoring, and logging.

Work with Kubernetes to manage and orchestrate containerized applications, ensuring efficient resource utilization and high availability.

Participate in the development of our platform roadmap, ensuring that our technology stack aligns with our business goals and objectives.

Ensure that our platform is secure, compliant , and meets all relevant regulatory requirements.

Partner with the engineering team to identify and prioritize platform improvements, and to develop and implement solutions to address these needs.

Own the end-to-end platform development process, from design to delivery, ensuring that our platform meets the needs of our engineers and the company as a whole.
