Lead security and policy architecture for complex cloud platforms, driving secure design, compliance, and risk mitigation across multi‑cloud environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement security controls and policies for large‑scale cloud deployments, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for platform components, translating findings into actionable improvement plans.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to embed security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including architecture diagrams, policy guides, and incident response playbooks.
- Provide expert guidance on identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and data protection strategies across AWS and hybrid environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering, policy development, and platform consulting.
- Deep expertise in AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub) and cloud governance.
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA) and risk management methodologies.
- Proven ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and automation frameworks.
