About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL to ingest and transform large datasets from multiple government sources.
- Apply machine learning techniques to model performance metrics, forecast trends, and identify optimization opportunities for digital services.
- Build interactive dashboards in Tableau and other visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders and inform policy decisions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define key performance indicators, establish data quality standards, and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
- Present analytical insights and recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex data into actionable business strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning within a large, complex organization.
- Strong programming skills in Python, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit‑learn.
- Expertise in SQL and experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, S3, Glue).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, preferably Tableau, and ability to create clear, impactful dashboards.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
