Software Engineer
Lead design, development, and enhancement of PeopleSoft applications, driving robust batch processing and optimal system performance using Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL within an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of PeopleSoft applications, ensuring high quality and maintainability.
- Develop and optimize batch processes, monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver on schedule.
- Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL code, perform data migrations, and maintain data integrity across PeopleSoft modules.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to uphold coding standards.
- Provide mentorship to junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining PeopleSoft applications.
- Strong proficiency in PeopleTools, Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with batch processing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting in a production environment.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
