Senior specialist responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations between HR systems such as Workday and SAP SuccessFactors, leveraging APIs, data mapping, and SQL to ensure seamless data flow and support global people processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain bi‑directional integrations between Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and other HR/Payroll platforms.
- Create and manage API specifications, data mapping schemas, and transformation logic to ensure accurate data exchange.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot integration issues, and implement enhancements.
- Monitor integration performance, conduct root‑cause analysis of failures, and implement proactive remediation.
- Document integration architecture, processes, and best practices for cross‑functional teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HR system integrations, preferably with Workday and SAP SuccessFactors.
- Strong proficiency in API design (REST/SOAP), data mapping, and SQL querying.
- Hands‑on experience with integration platforms or middleware (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across global, cross‑functional teams.
