Senior Partner Solutions Engineer who drives adoption of Akamai’s CDN, security and performance solutions across EMEA partners, delivering technical guidance, demos and proof‑of‑concepts to accelerate revenue.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Channel Managers and Partner Account Executives to position Akamai’s CDN, security and web performance portfolio to strategic partners.
- Design and deliver technical presentations, demos, and proof‑of‑concept implementations that showcase solution value and address partner use cases.
- Provide pre‑sales engineering support, including architecture reviews, sizing, and integration guidance for partner‑driven deployments.
- Act as a technical liaison between partners, services, and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding, issue resolution, and ongoing enablement.
- Develop and maintain partner‑focused technical documentation, best‑practice guides, and training workshops.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in pre‑sales or solutions engineering, preferably with CDN, cloud security, or web performance technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, and modern web application architectures.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Experience working with channel partners or in a partner‑enablement role across EMEA markets.
- Hands‑on experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Bash) for demo environments is a plus.
