Senior Package Design Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Package Design Engineer to join our team in Boise, ID. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative package solutions for our products, utilizing expertise in mechanical engineering and design tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in package design, with experience in design for manufacturability (DFM) and a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative package solutions for micron's products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets product requirements and manufacturing capabilities
• Develop and maintain design documentation and specifications
• Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to design team
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in package design
• Strong background in ANSYS and SolidWorks
• Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
