About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end systems engineering for Orion spacecraft, ensuring design integrity from concept through flight.
- Develop and validate orbital mechanics models, trajectory planning, and mission simulations.
- Collaborate with avionics, propulsion, and structural teams to integrate subsystems and resolve interface issues.
- Conduct trade studies, risk assessments, and performance analyses to optimize mission success.
- Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and flight‑ready reports for certification and launch.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in spacecraft or satellite systems engineering.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, C++, and Python for modeling and simulation.
- Strong knowledge of orbital mechanics, propulsion, and avionics integration.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
