Senior Oracle Test Engineer responsible for designing, executing, and automating functional and integration tests for Oracle Customer Care & Billing during a data‑centre lift‑and‑shift migration, ensuring billing processes meet quality and compliance standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive functional and integration test plans for Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) modules.
- Collaborate with development, business, and migration teams to identify test scenarios, validate requirements, and ensure defect-free delivery.
- Automate repetitive test cases using industry‑standard tools, improving test coverage and execution speed.
- Analyze test results, document defects, and work closely with stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain test artifacts, including test cases, scripts, and traceability matrices, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in functional and integration testing of Oracle applications, preferably CC&B.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts, PL/SQL, and Oracle E‑Business Suite.
- Proficiency in test management and automation tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, Selenium, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with data centre migration projects and change management processes is a plus.
