About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Oracle Database instances supporting critical data processing workloads.
- Implement performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization to meet stringent SLAs.
- Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery strategies, ensuring data availability.
- Collaborate with data architects to model and migrate data for new analytics initiatives.
- Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches and upgrades.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience administering Oracle Database 12c/19c in enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning techniques.
- Hands‑on experience with backup/recovery tools (RMAN, Data Guard) and high‑availability configurations.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a data‑centric team.
