Lead design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for enterprise applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain Oracle Database instances across production, test, and development environments.
- Design and implement database schemas, PL/SQL packages, and stored procedures to support business applications.
- Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning to meet SLAs.
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery strategies, including RMAN and Data Guard.
- Ensure database security, compliance, and audit requirements are met.
- Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders to resolve database issues and improve processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Database 19c/21c.
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and database performance tuning.
- Experience with backup/recovery, Data Guard, RAC, and flashback technologies.
- Solid understanding of database security, auditing, and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
