About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance Oracle database environments for critical statistical data processing.
- Implement and fine‑tune SQL and PL/SQL code to meet strict performance and scalability requirements.
- Perform capacity planning, backup/recovery, and disaster‑recovery strategies to guarantee data availability.
- Lead data migration and integration projects, ensuring seamless movement of large datasets between systems.
- Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and infrastructure teams to support end‑to‑end data workflows.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Database administration and development.
- Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning techniques.
- Proven experience with data migration, replication, and backup/recovery processes.
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative setting.
