Senior Oracle DBA responsible for stabilizing, patching, and scaling critical Oracle 19c/23ai environments supporting multiple ERP implementations, with a focus on upgrades, performance tuning, and high‑availability design.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute Oracle database upgrades from 19c to 23ai across production and test environments.
- Maintain database stability, applying patches, security fixes, and performance optimizations on a continuous basis.
- Implement and manage high‑availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate) to ensure minimal downtime for ERP workloads.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues, conducting root‑cause analysis and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with ERP functional teams to support schema changes, data migrations, and release cycles.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands‑on Oracle DBA experience, including recent work with Oracle 19c and 23ai.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development, performance tuning, and query optimization.
- Demonstrated experience with database migration, patch management, and high‑availability architectures.
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting (Shell, Python/Bash) for automation.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment.
