Lead the design, development, and optimization of Oracle‑based data warehouse solutions, driving ETL processes and performance tuning while mentoring a team of developers.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement Oracle data warehouse schemas, star/ snowflake models, and dimensional structures.
- Develop, test, and maintain high‑performance PL/SQL ETL jobs, data loads, and data quality routines.
- Optimize SQL queries, indexes, and partitioning strategies to ensure fast reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Lead a team of developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous delivery pipelines.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL development.
- Proven expertise in data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL design.
- Strong SQL performance‑tuning skills, including indexing, partitioning, and optimizer hints.
- Experience leading development teams in an Agile environment.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
