About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of electro‑optical and infrared (EO/IR) subsystems for maritime and airborne platforms.
- Integrate optical components into complete systems, ensuring performance meets mission specifications.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation, including optical alignment, calibration, and environmental qualification.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software) to resolve integration challenges.
- Document design decisions, test procedures, and results for compliance and future reference.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience designing, integrating, and testing EO/IR systems.
- Proficiency with optical design tools (e.g., Zemax, Code V) and simulation software.
- Strong understanding of optical materials, coatings, and thermal/structural effects on performance.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
