Senior Operations Quality Engineer on the 4th shift driving continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and statistical process control to ensure product excellence in a high‑security aerospace environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for production defects.
- Apply Six Sigma and statistical process control techniques to monitor and improve process performance.
- Design and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) studies to optimize manufacturing parameters.
- Develop and maintain Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) documentation for critical processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed quality metrics into daily operations.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing or aerospace setting.
- Proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of DOE, FMEA, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently on a 4th‑shift schedule.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
