About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement and manage scalable AI services on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) to support humanitarian data analytics.
- Define and enforce security policies, threat modeling, and incident response procedures for AI workloads.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate machine‑learning models into production pipelines using CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
- Monitor cloud cost, performance and compliance, providing regular reporting to senior leadership.
- Provide technical guidance and training to cross‑functional teams on cloud security and responsible AI principles.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field with 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and AI/ML deployments.
- Proven expertise with AWS and Azure services, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Strong background in security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and experience implementing security controls for AI systems.
- Hands‑on programming skills in Python and familiarity with machine‑learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and ability to work in a multicultural, remote environment.
