Lead integration of nuclear steam supply system requirements into uprate projects, coordinating plant modifications, transient response analysis, and cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure safe, on‑time execution.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Drive integration of NSSS requirements into uprate execution programs, with emphasis on 2TGP integration and plant modifications.
- Collaborate with process, I&C, safety analysis, and EPC partners to develop and validate implementation plans.
- Lead transient response and systems engineering analyses to assess impact of uprates on plant performance and safety.
- Coordinate technical reviews, documentation, and regulatory deliverables across internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience in nuclear power plant operations or uprate projects.
- Proven expertise in NSSS integration, plant modification design, and transient analysis.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation & control systems, safety analysis methodologies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex engineering projects.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
