Senior Microwave Research Scientist
IonQ is seeking a Senior Microwave Research Scientist to architect and refine cutting-edge microwave circuits for the electronic control of high-fidelity spin qubits. This role involves integrating these circuits with advanced optical and electronic devices and leading the entire cycle from foundry fabrication to internal validation to ensure world-class performance for quantum hardware.

We are looking for a Senior Microwave Research Scientist. As a Senior Microwave Research Scientist, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team whose mission is to lead IonQ on its journey to build the world’s best quantum computers to solve the world’s most complex problems.
In this role, you will architect and refine cutting-edge microwave circuits for the electronic control of high-fidelity spin qubits. You’ll spearhead the integration of these circuits with advanced optical and electronic devices to push the boundaries of system-level performance. Your leadership will drive the end-to-end cycle from foundry fabrication to rigorous internal validation, ensuring world-class performance for our quantum hardware.
