About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end design of mechatronic subsystems for ground robots, including mechanical, electrical, and control components.
- Develop and validate embedded firmware (C/C++) and control algorithms for real‑time operation.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, and field teams to integrate sensors, actuators, and power systems.
- Conduct rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization in laboratory and field environments.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and maintenance guidelines for long‑term support.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (BSc/MSc) in Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience designing and building robotic systems with proven control and embedded expertise.
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and embedded C/C++ development.
- Strong knowledge of sensor integration, PLC programming, and real‑time control.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
