Key Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate cable management solutions for robotic platforms, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Lead drop testing initiatives to validate mechanical integrity and durability of robotic components under real-world conditions.
- Develop and iterate hardware prototypes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine design specifications and manufacturing processes.
- Analyze test data, identify failure modes, and implement design improvements to enhance reliability and safety.
- Document design decisions, test procedures, and results, maintaining clear and comprehensive technical records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, prototyping, and testing within robotics or similar high-precision industries.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation software for structural analysis.
- Strong understanding of cable management, connector selection, and drop test methodologies.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
