About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of high‑pressure testing systems, pressure vessels, and control equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Create detailed 3‑D assembly models and technical drawings using SolidWorks, translating concepts into manufacturable designs.
- Conduct finite element analysis to validate structural integrity and optimize performance under extreme pressure conditions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to resolve design issues, select materials, and define production processes.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation, providing technical guidance to junior engineers and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of mechanical design experience, with a strong background in pressure vessel and high‑pressure system design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and advanced FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, material selection, and regulatory standards (ASME, ISO).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, technically challenging environment.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring junior engineers.
