Software Engineer
Senior Mechanical Engineer leading design, analysis, and prototyping for medical and consumer health products using CAD, FEA, and advanced manufacturing techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end mechanical design of medical and consumer health devices, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop detailed CAD models and perform finite element analysis (FEA) to validate performance and safety.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (electrical, software, regulatory) to integrate mechanical solutions into complete products.
- Oversee prototyping, testing, and iteration cycles, providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Document design decisions, create technical reports, and support manufacturing hand‑offs to contract facilities worldwide.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field; 7+ years of industry experience.
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Creo) and FEA (ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and medical device regulations (FDA, ISO 13485).
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience working in a global, multidisciplinary environment is a plus.
