What You'll Do
Epic Games is looking for a Senior Manager of Performance Marketing to join our team. In this role, you will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of performance marketing campaigns across various digital channels to drive player acquisition, engagement, and retention for Epic Games’ portfolio of products. You will manage a team of marketers and work closely with cross-functional teams including brand, product, and analytics to deliver on ambitious growth targets.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the gaming or entertainment industry, a proven track record of managing large-scale performance marketing budgets, and a passion for driving measurable results.
In this role, you will
- Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies to drive player acquisition, engagement, and retention across various digital channels (paid social, paid search, programmatic, etc.)
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of performance marketers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning
- Manage large-scale performance marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation and ROAS across campaigns and channels
- Collaborate closely with brand, product, and analytics teams to ensure integrated marketing efforts and leverage data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of all performance marketing campaigns, from creative development and targeting to bidding and measurement
- Establish clear KPIs and reporting frameworks to track, analyze, and communicate campaign performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in performance marketing, continuously seeking innovative ways to reach and engage our audience
- Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring they deliver high-quality results and align with our strategic objectives
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of experience in performance marketing or growth marketing, with a focus on the gaming or entertainment industry
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing large-scale performance marketing campaigns that drive measurable results
- Deep expertise in various digital marketing channels, including paid social, paid search, and programmatic advertising
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making, including proficiency in marketing analytics platforms and tools
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and developing high-performing marketing teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in the performance marketing space
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
