QA Engineer
Lead the development and execution of manufacturing test strategies for advanced energy storage hardware, using Python, LabVIEW, and statistical methods to ensure reliability, quality, and performance at scale.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test systems for large‑scale battery cell and module production.
- Develop test scripts and data acquisition pipelines in Python and LabVIEW to capture performance, safety, and durability metrics.
- Analyze test data using statistical methods and Design of Experiments to drive process improvements and root‑cause resolution.
- Collaborate with product, manufacturing, and quality teams to define test specifications, acceptance criteria, and release protocols.
- Lead reliability and stress‑testing programs, documenting results and recommending design or process changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of manufacturing test experience.
- Proficiency in Python and LabVIEW for test automation and data handling.
- Strong background in hardware validation, statistical analysis, and Design of Experiments.
- Hands‑on experience with data acquisition hardware, power electronics, and battery systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
