About the role
Lead execution of complex automation capital projects from concept through startup
Develop project Statements of Work (SOWs) with leveraged engineering teams
Lead basic data development with stakeholders (ops, process, quality) to define equipment and system requirements
Integrate multi-disciplinary systems including robotics, vision inspection, web-handling, and contamination control systems
Coordinate installation, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and startup activities
Act as primary site interface to global automation teams; support design reviews and implementation alignment
Lead change qualification and validation activities, including MOC, risk assessments, and change review processes
Ensure all changes meet customer, quality, and regulatory requirements with minimal production disruption
Ensure compliance with machine safety, EHS, and internal standards
Position is site-based in Newark, DE, with periodic travel (< 15%) to global manufacturing sites and vendor locations for FAT/SAT and project support
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
7+ years of experience in automation, equipment engineering, or capital project execution in manufacturing
Proven experience leading complex automation system integration and deployment
