Systems Engineer
Senior engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining PLC‑based manufacturing control systems, integrating automation hardware and software to improve production efficiency and reliability.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and commission PLC programs for high‑volume biomanufacturing equipment.
- Integrate HMI/SCADA interfaces and ensure seamless communication with Manufacturing Execution Systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot control system issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including wiring diagrams, functional specifications, and validation protocols.
- Provide technical support for equipment qualification, validation, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering with 7+ years of PLC/automation experience.
- Proficiency in programming PLC platforms such as Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or Rockwell.
- Strong knowledge of HMI/SCADA tools, industrial networking, and safety standards (e.g., ISA‑84, IEC 61511).
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and data integration in a regulated environment.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
