Lead the design, integration, and optimization of advanced manufacturing systems, leveraging software and embedded solutions to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop software and embedded solutions for manufacturing equipment, ensuring seamless integration with production lines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements, validate designs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and performance tuning of manufacturing systems to meet stringent quality and reliability standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation, test plans, and validation reports for compliance with industry and customer specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in systems engineering and manufacturing automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing systems engineering or 6 years with a master’s degree.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, embedded C/C++, and industrial automation protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in root‑cause analysis, performance optimization, and failure mode analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, classified environment.
