About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of transmission and distribution station projects, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to industry standards.
- Manage cross‑functional teams, coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, and regulatory bodies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain asset management strategies, optimizing performance, reliability, and lifecycle costs of power infrastructure.
- Engage with utilities, regulators, and community stakeholders to secure approvals, address concerns, and promote project benefits.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating emerging technologies and best practices into project delivery.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in transmission and distribution engineering, with a proven track record of managing large‑scale utility projects.
- Strong knowledge of power system design, electrical engineering principles, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with external partners.
- Effective communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information to diverse audiences.
