Systems Engineer
Leads technology operations for a global real‑estate firm, overseeing cloud infrastructure, service delivery platforms, vendor relationships and continuous improvement initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct day‑to‑day technology operations across multiple regions, ensuring high availability and performance of cloud and on‑premise services.
- Own the ServiceNow platform lifecycle, driving incident, problem, change and request management aligned with ITIL best practices.
- Partner with engineering, security and business teams to design, implement, and automate operational processes that improve service quality and reduce manual effort.
- Manage third‑party vendors and service contracts, negotiating SLAs and monitoring performance to meet business objectives.
- Lead a team of operations engineers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in IT operations or technology services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and ServiceNow administration.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and experience implementing ITSM processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and large‑scale technology projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
