Lead a technical accounting team, overseeing complex GAAP/IFRS reporting, internal controls, and system implementations using SAP and advanced Excel for data analysis.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the preparation and review of complex financial statements and disclosures in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust internal control frameworks to ensure accurate reporting.
- Lead system integration projects, including SAP enhancements and data migration, to improve accounting processes.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on new transactions, contracts, and regulatory changes.
- Mentor and develop a team of accountants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead role.
- Deep expertise in GAAP, IFRS, and complex financial reporting.
- Proficiency with SAP (or similar ERP) and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
