About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for mission‑critical market infrastructure services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team through Agile practices, fostering collaboration, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
- Architect, develop, and maintain cloud‑native solutions on platforms such as AWS or Azure, leveraging micro‑services, containers, and serverless technologies.
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring to accelerate delivery while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
- Partner with product owners, risk, and operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python, and hands‑on experience building micro‑service architectures.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Proven track record delivering complex systems using CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automated testing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive technical decisions in a regulated financial environment.
