Lead security architecture and engineering initiatives, designing robust cloud and network security solutions for high‑performing nearshore IT teams, leveraging AWS, IAM, Zero Trust, and incident response expertise to protect client environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise‑grade security solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead security design reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for new and existing projects, driving continuous improvement of security controls.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to embed security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and development lifecycles.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and incident response playbooks, providing guidance and training to cross‑functional teams.
- Manage and mentor a team of security engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in security architecture, engineering, or related roles, with a strong focus on cloud (AWS) and network security.
- Deep expertise in IAM, Zero Trust, encryption, and secure application design.
- Proven track record of leading security initiatives in a fast‑paced, nearshore or distributed environment.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex security concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent) preferred.
