Role
SAP Payroll Implementation Senior Manager - DACH
Activities under your Responsibilities
- Leader of the DACH region, consisting of Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Help build a high performing team
- Represent the function with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Own business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI performance
- Drive operational excellence and continuous process improvement
- Keep alignment with sales to perform a capacity planning
- Lead initiatives, transformation programs, and change management
- Act as escalation point for complex or high-impact decisions
- Collaborate with clients to capture all payroll requirements and guide them through workshops, configuration steps and systems setup
- Validate and configure customer payroll solution and integrations in compliance with legal regulations
- Assist and support with data mapping, migration, YTD preparation and accuracy checks
- Manage all system testing phases (SIT, UAT, parallel runs, etc.) and address system configuration/integration issues with local and global teams.
- Oversee go-live activities ensuring payroll system readiness
- Track project progress, documentation, and collaborate with project managers and project team to ensure timely milestone delivery
What We Are Looking For
- 8–10+ years of relevant professional experience in management roles.
- Solid knowledge of local payroll and time regulations in Germany and proven expertise in payroll system configuration and integrations
- Hands-on mindset with a willingness to explore and apply innovative solutions
- Fluent in English and German. With excellent communication skills and a client-focused, collaborative mindset
- Previous experience working on international payroll projects is a plus
- Ability to work remotely, manage tasks efficiently, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including clients, global and project teams
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
