Solutions Architect
Lead end‑to‑end solution architecture for cross‑functional R&D initiatives, translating clinical, regulatory and pharmacovigilance business needs into secure, scalable, and interoperable cloud‑native designs.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and govern the technical architecture for R&D platforms supporting clinical development, regulatory submissions, and pharmacovigilance.
- Translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable cloud solutions using AWS or Azure services.
- Design and implement API‑first integration strategies to enable seamless data exchange across disparate systems.
- Ensure solutions meet industry‑specific security, privacy, and compliance standards (e.g., GxP, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Guide cross‑functional teams through architecture reviews, proof‑of‑concepts, and technology road‑maps.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, preferably within pharmaceutical or life‑science R&D environments.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), microservices, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and API management.
- Deep understanding of data security, regulatory compliance, and industry standards for clinical and pharmacovigilance data.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver complex, enterprise‑scale solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge business and technical domains.
