About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute analytics strategies for property and casualty insurance clients, focusing on claims, underwriting, and pricing.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in developing predictive models, segmentation, and AI solutions that improve loss ratios and operational efficiency.
- Engage directly with senior client stakeholders to translate business challenges into data‑driven roadmaps and deliver actionable insights.
- Oversee end‑to‑end project delivery, from data acquisition and cleansing to model deployment and performance monitoring on cloud platforms.
- Mentor and grow a team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers, fostering best practices in statistical modeling, visualization, and reproducible analytics.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in insurance analytics, with deep knowledge of P&C underwriting, claims, and pricing processes.
- Proven consulting background delivering large‑scale analytics or AI projects for enterprise clients.
- Strong technical expertise in Python, SQL, and machine‑learning frameworks (e.g., scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS for data storage, processing, and model deployment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior business leaders.
