About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee end-to-end oncology data pipelines, ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance across multiple data sources.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team in developing and validating machine learning models that predict patient outcomes, treatment response, and disease progression.
- Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and product teams to translate analytical insights into actionable clinical decision support tools.
- Drive continuous improvement of data infrastructure on AWS, optimizing performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Mentor and coach data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and rigorous scientific methodology.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science or analytics within oncology or related biomedical domain.
- Proven track record of delivering production-ready ML models in a regulated environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytics into clear business insights.
- Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
