Senior Manager of Software Engineering - JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and coaching to several cross‑functional engineering teams, ensuring high quality, on‑time delivery of consumer banking digital products.
• Architect and oversee the development of scalable Java/Spring microservices deployed on AWS, aligning with enterprise security and compliance standards.
• Drive Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives across teams.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations stakeholders to anticipate dependencies, mitigate risks, and streamline release pipelines.
• Champion DevOps culture by implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring solutions to improve reliability and deployment velocity.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in Java and Spring frameworks.
• Proven track record managing and scaling multiple engineering teams in a high‑growth environment.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3) and experience designing cloud‑native architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and container orchestration.
• Excellent communication, mentorship, and stakeholder management skills.
