About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end development and enhancement of insurance operations systems, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high‑quality solutions on schedule.
- Analyze operational data using SQL and advanced analytics to identify bottlenecks, recommend improvements, and measure impact.
- Oversee cloud (AWS) infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency of insurance platforms.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate third‑party solutions to support system capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean and Six Sigma principles to streamline processes and reduce cycle time.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in insurance operations or related fields, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of leading complex system implementations and process optimization projects.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3) and cloud architecture best practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
