About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of security architectures for cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid environments.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices aligned with industry regulations and defense requirements.
- Oversee risk assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing programs to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Coordinate incident response activities, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement preventive controls.
- Mentor and grow a multidisciplinary security engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in information security and systems engineering, with a proven track record in defense or high‑security environments.
- Deep expertise in security architecture, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and network security controls.
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, DoD RMF) and compliance standards (FedRAMP, CJIS).
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams and driving security initiatives at scale.
