About the Role
Epic Games is looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team. In this role, you will lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing critical insights and support to senior management. You will be responsible for managing the forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes, as well as conducting in-depth financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, working closely with various department heads to gather inputs and ensure accuracy.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business cases.
- Perform detailed variance analysis of actual results against budget and forecast, providing actionable insights to management.
- Prepare comprehensive management reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting key financial trends, performance metrics, and risks.
- Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide financial support and guidance on special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed.
- Mentor and develop junior members of the FP&A team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., ERP, planning software) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
